From 2001 to 2014, she provided technical assistance to legislation drafting and implementation of laws affecting civil society in Armenia, as well as recommendations on the situation of children and the compliance of the Armenian national legislation to the UNCRC, notably in the framework of international aid programs. She carried out successful advocacy work with various ministries and parliamentarians in the process reform of Armenia’s social services. She has conducted numerous training for parliamentarians, local self-government, judges, NGO representatives and the members of Guardianship and trusteeship Commissions on child rights protection system.

Ms. Kurdova holds a Master of Laws from Yaroslav State University, Russia and a PhD in law from Moscow State University,M. Lomonosov, Russia.
