Nyea Mary Magdalene Buam just completed her Master Degree in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from European University Viadrina, Frankfurt Oder (Germany). She holds a post graduate diploma (Maitrise) in Business Law from the University of Yaoundé II (Cameroon) and is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Dschang (Cameroon). Presently, she is the program manager and Director of Human Rights/Justice Program with International Institute for Caring. Previously, she volunteered with Malteser Hilfdienst as Refugee Children Coordinator, she is currently preparing reports on the status of Migrant Children in Cameroon for Kids Empowerment. She has an interest in the areas of women and children’s rights, prisoners’ rights, especially children in conflict with the law.
